Experience Overview
Walk through the garden at AONOSATO and use the Herb & Fruit Map to discover and harvest seasonal plants that have long been part of everyday life in Okinawa.
After making a smoothie with freshly harvested herbs and fruits, you will prepare and enjoy traditional Ryukyu longevity dishes together with a Traditional Ryukyu Culinary Master certified by Okinawa Prefecture.
See, touch, smell, cook, and taste—an experience that lets you enjoy Okinawa’s nature and food culture through all five senses.
Sample Menu
・Herbal smoothie made with seasonal herbs and fruits
・Fuchiba Jushi—Okinawan-style seasoned rice with mugwort
・Njanabasuune—Nigana greens dressed with tofu
・Champuru made with seasonal Okinawan vegetables
※The plants harvested and some menu items may change depending on the season and growing conditions.
Pricing
Adult (ages 16 and over): ¥15,000 per person
Child (ages 3–15): ¥10,000 per person
Infant (ages 0–2): Free
Participation Requirements
・A minimum of two participants is required.
・The maximum group size is 20 participants.
・Children cannot participate without an accompanying adult.
・Children ages 0–2 may share food from an accompanying adult’s meal. Herbal smoothies will not be served to children in this age group.
